BIOGRAPHY (2009 update)
Rising star Silvano Da Silva is one of the most wanted Dutch talents at the moment. He is the first Dutch Artist who signed a record deal by the UK leading recordlabel from ATFC: ONEPHATDEEVA! His track “Freak Out” that was signed on this reached the number 1 position in the UK QX magazine and was supported by big names as ATFC, Mark Knight, Junior Vasquez, Tom De Neef, Jonathan Ulyssus, Lucien Foort and many more!
In the meantime he started his own successful record label: SOULISIMO RECORDS! Some highlights on Soulisimo are : “Summer 2007 EP” reached the NR1 position best selling tracks on one of the biggest online record shops from the UK! “Ferragosto” and “The Power” where both charted by STONEBRIDGE, ”Shouts from Jamonay” was compilated on DJ JEROENSKI’s Latin house session 2 CD, “ Alright tonight” has getting massive airplay on NR1 radio station from Holland 3FM and the track was licensed to CENTAUR MUSIC in USA, and “God gave us rhythm” was massive supported by many major artists!! Tracks as “Let There be house” and “House of Faith” are signed in that time on Dutch Label from Rob Boskamp SMASH Records.
THE STAR KEEPS RISSING:
Lickin Records a superb respected German record label who also signed Grant Nelson, Seamus Haji and of course The Sunloverz signed the track “Da Beat goes” from the SDS man. This track was later licensed to POOLE MUSIC (France) ,this is the Label from DJ Superstar ANTOINE CLAMARAN.
Being successful with productions, Silvano was asked for doing remixes for different Artists like JEREMY SYLVESTER with “Keep it hot ya’ll” signed on DIAMONDHOUSE (Germany), DA GROOVE with “This is how I feel” for OSPINA RECORDS (New York) , OSCAR P & OSPINA with “Move on up” for OPEN BAR RECORDS (New York) and forthcoming remixes for SOCAFRICA, BK DUKE and DANIEL FORBES.
Silvano’s DJ performances are always with lots of energy and hands up in the air! Silvano has gigs in the coolest clubs and festivals like La Rocca, Extrema Outdoor Festival, Pinkpop, Club Industria (B), IT, Bonboniere, Soulisimo Boatpartys, De Rechter, City Parade (B), Nightlife, Raffles, Mondial, Pacific Pleasure Festival, Silo (B) and many more… We are sure, with his unique style of Dj-ing and producing, that the future looks very bright. Future gigs and massive releases will put him on the map of music, not only nationally but also Internationally! WATCH OUT!!!
BACK IN TIME:
Silvano is original an Italian, but his parents moved to Belgium when he was a kid. From the beginning he was fascinated by music. So, at the age of 14 he became a DJ. Soon this hobby turned into a real passion and he was asked to perform at local parties and in local cafes. His name got spread and bigger opportunities came. He had the possibility to play with famous Dutch Djs. Soon he was a regular Guest DJ in club Mondial in Beek (Holland) at Friday evenings so it was time to get into the studio and make his own tracks. As a friend of DJ Jean he got the chance to produce his own work for IT- Records. Da Silva & Rafaelo: City of Angels saw the light and even made it to the nr9 position in the Dutch dance charts. The openminded attitude of the Dutch and their appreciation for his music fitted in well with his own personality, especially playing Sexy House, Uplifting Groove and sometimes a pinch of Tribal. He also did projects, such as Ibiza Groovers with Cult Feel. This record scored well in the Benelux, was compiled on many CDs and was played by a lot of toppers in the scene. It even made it to the records shops of Chicago!
Silvano Da Silva feat. Milan with the track won’t let you go one of his new projects did it very good in the clubs. It was played by the biggest Dutch radio stations 3FM and ID&T radio. This track rocks the dance-floor! At this moment he works in his studio on his own Silvano Da Silva project and as we know his style of music? It will be hot, sexy and groovylicious and will bring the party freaks in the mood to smash the dance floor!
The SDS man also performs his dj skillz on Dutch radio stations for example: ID&T Radio with Eric Van Kleef in STUDIO 54, 3FM with Edwin Diergaarde in MINISTRY OF BEATS and LOS the slamming radio show from the dreadman Lucien Foort (Toolroom).
